Problem is that eevee is nice to render some personal animations and blender is ok if you plan to do your own animations, sculpting, rendering or whatever, but when you need to produce on it and share data between depts plus work fast and reliable is a big big problem.Īt our studio we are trying it on a small teaser and the pipeline has a lot of big holes that needs to be coded here and there to make things smooth and there are a lot of places where it's slower than maya and you can do nothing, like creating alembics or opening a scene that's on the vpn instead than local.
